Ed, a friend of my husband's sent them. And my peach-lovin' man ate one over the kitchen sink immediately - before I could even get a picture.

These peaches arrived fresh from the Pearson Farm in Georgia. They tasted like they had been picked yesterday. Delish...
This morning, my doorbell rang again and ... you guessed it! There was ANOTHER box of peaches from Ed. I felt the pressure of rotting fruit crushing in from all around me. Torn between laughter and tears, my husband handed me a recipe for peach cobbler.
So, I guess I will be adding that to my things to do today. When I've finished, I will take pictures to share, with the recipe.
Until then, does anyone know what I can do with the rest of my supply? Help!!!

Hey Amy,
I was just thinking about a peach blog myself. They are coming on strong now!
I hope your peach cobbler turns out well...not sure how it couldn't. How about slicing and freezing some for future use? Eat on cold cereal, make smoothies, make peach milkshakes.
Strong indeed! Today's peaches are like yesterday's strawberries.
I have a bad habit of not keeping up with my frozen food - I forget its in there most of the time!!
My super-healthy twin is visiting this weekend and besides running 8 miles Saturday morning, she will bring yogurt and blueberries for smoothies and parfaits.
Oooh peach milkshakes... sounds good!
Thanks Lindsey!
Hold on a minute. Does this guy know we have plenty of peach orchards around here and personally, I think the Virginia peach is where it's at!

I don't think Ed has been to VA in a while. I am pretty sure he has a strong love affair with the Georgia peach.
BTW: I'm not the kind of girl to look a gift box of peaches in the mouth. We can enjoy VA peaches with our GA peaches.
