Photo is from Pepperidge Farm... well, that's enough, isn't it? Just HAVING your cake?
About ten years ago, I began visiting my grandmother every month or two. Every afternoon, while my baby (now 11 years old) would nap, Granny would make a cup of tea and a slice of Pepperidge Farm cake for me to indulge in. I savored those afternoons!!
This week, I bought my family the Pepperidge Farm 3-layer coconut cake. I only got to eat one piece - my son hogged most of it. But the one piece I DID enjoy was yummy!!
Online, the description says, "Three layers of moist cake topped with creamy frosting is like a slice of heaven."
They aren't kidding!
So, dish it. What says indulgence to you? Tea and cake? Nutty Buddies? Old fashioned, hand-churned ice cream? It's summertime - a time for sweet treats.
Dive in - don't be shy!!

That's one of my favorite cakes...the closest thing I can get to real cake since we don't have any real bakeries here. The danger is I could eat it all in one sitting!
I could live on coconut cake alone, if my stomach would only allow it!!
We DO have a nice bakery in town (the Edible Vibe). I only go there once every month though. If I went more often, any attempt I have for healthy eating would be shot!!
Oh yum. I didn't know Pepperidge Farm put out cake mixes. I recently bought several of their breads, but was disappointed when they molded in only two days! Ever heard of that?
They are actually frozen cakes - not cake mixes. I have never heard of their breads molding quickly, but I keep a lot of my bread in the fridge (an old Florida habit). It could be the store you are going to doesn't check their sell by date very closely.
